Chicken Roll Recipe

Step 1

Using a glass bowl, mix together the coriander powder, black pepper, garlic paste, cumin powder, low-fat yoghurt, turmeric, and ginger pastes, as well as the low-fat yoghurt and the turmeric and ginger pastes, for this simple snack recipe. Step 1: Chop the chicken into cubes, chop the tomato into medium-sized pieces, and then cut the cucumber into strips.Blend well.In a bowl, combine the ingredients that have already been added to marinate the freshly washed chicken pieces.Set aside at least one hour or more.
Step 2: Now, in a frying pan, heat oil over a moderate flame.Sauté the sliced onions over medium heat until they turn a light brown color. Then, cook for two to three minutes before adding chopped tomatoes. Then, at that point, add the marinated chicken pieces.Cover and cook for 10 minutes over low heat, stirring frequently. In between, keep stirring.Add 12 ounces of water.
Step 3: Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is done.Add more water if the chicken is drying out too much.Add the garam masala powder after that.Remove from heat and thoroughly mix.Put it away.
Step 4: Combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and vegetable oil thoroughly for the dough. Now knead a very smooth dough as you slowly add water.Make three or four balls of equal size from it.Roll each ball into a round paratha on a lightly floured surface. The paratha should be slightly thicker than regular chapatis or rotis.
Step 5: Cook each paratha individually on a tawa over medium heat.Flip and cook both sides without oil for one minute before adding 1 tablespoon of oil to each side.Cook on the other side until a light brown spot appears.Flipping the parathas too much can cause them to become hard. The parathas should be removed from the heat and kept aside.
Step 6: On a hot paratha, arrange cooked chicken pieces in a row, spacing them slightly from the middle.Sprinkle the chicken pieces with some chopped coriander leaves, cucumber, and lemon juice as a garnish.Chili sauce and a few drops of tomato ketchup can be added.
Step 7: Wrap one half of the paratha in tissue paper and roll it up tightly.Inside the roll, fold the tissue paper at the bottom. You can now eat your “Chicken Roll” in street style.Enjoy!
