On Friday, the renowned sportscar rally Gumball 3000 made a stop at Expo City. It began at Burj Park and traversed Oman and the United Arab Emirates.
Celebrity drivers and over 100 elite high-performance vehicles, including Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and a Bugatti Divo, made their Middle Eastern debuts for the 23rd edition of the motor rally on November 13 from Burj Park.
Before arriving at the magnificent Al Wasl Plaza for an electrifying projection show that captivated both drivers and spectators, they traveled through the dramatic sea and desert landscapes of the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
Highlights of the evening included a “meet and greet” with drivers like British YouTuber Yung Filly, Moroccan-American rapper French Montana, and Hanan Mazouzi Sobati, who founded the Arabian Gazelles, Dubai’s first all-women supercar owner’s club.
Sobati drove an Alfa Romeo Stelvio for The Purple Team, which had nine drivers from Oman and the United Arab Emirates.
On Sunday, they will end the epic and diverse adventure at Yas Marina Circuit, where they will celebrate the end of the Formula 1 season.
